GLENCOE, IL, May 6, 2012 / – Renée LaVerné Rose, emerging artist, was accepted to the 7th Annual Highland Park Art Walk Juried Exhibition. The juried panel selected her artwork titled “The Peaceful Nature of Things” which will be shown at the event during the month of June 2012. 

The 7th Annual Highland Park Art Walk is a juried exhibition of artwork by Illinois artists displayed in storefront windows and businesses in Highland Park, IL from June 1 through June 30, 2012. The Highland Park Art Walk artists will greet visitors at their display locations and many Highland Park merchants will serve refreshments and/or offer promotional discounts. 

Following the art walk event, there will be a “Party with the Artist” reception held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Blue Rose Gallery, 667 Central Avenue, Highland Park, IL. Renée LaVerné Rose is an emerging artist who is originally from the Chicago, IL and who currently resides in Glencoe, Illinois. Renée LaVerné describes herself as a renaissance woman from being exposed by her parents to continual intellectually stimulation, traveling internationally to experience cultural diversity, enjoying all visual and performing arts, and encouraging herself to become fully engaged in the world around her.

Rose has a Master of Arts Degree, from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration, with focus in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from George Williams College with focus in focus Natural Sciences and three years undergraduate courses with a concentration on Biology at Loyola University.

At this stage in her life success is traveling her journey as an artist with integrity, trust, and love. Renée LaVerné goes forth in peace not knowing where her journey will take her but she is fully engaged in becoming a well-known artist internationally. As an intricate part of her career, Renée LaVerné will continue to promote visual arts to the general public as beneficial to the well-being of mankind.
