The theme for our September Exhibition is “Abstraction”. The submission process and competition for the artists began in late July and ended on August 31, 2010. The gallery received 262 entries from 11 different countries for this art competition. The countries represented included Canada, Russia, United Kingdom, Thailand, France, Taiwan, Australia, Croatia, Ireland, Sweden and the United States.
Due to the quality and the volume of the entries we decided to change the rules for this month and expand the winners to include 1st Place through 5th Place and to include 5 Honorable Mention winners. Easily, there could have been at least 10 other artists included in this “winners’ section.
All winners will now be featured on the Light Space & Time website for the month of September 2010. Thereafter, the artworks and links to the artist’s websites will remain online in the Light Space & Time Archive Section.
