Our art competition for May was the 4th Annual “Animals” competition and 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world were called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s August 2014 online group art exhibition. The “Animals” theme was considered to be any art which depicted mammals, birds and any animals that live in the water for inclusion into this art exhibition.
This art competition and the submission process for the artists began in June 2014 and concluded on July 27, 2014. The gallery received 669 total entries from 37 different states and 17 different countries from around the world, including Australia, Canada, Croatia, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Russia, The Bahamas, United Kingdom, The Ukraine and Venezuela.
We want to thank everyone for participating and just because your art was not selected is not a reflection on your artistic talents and skill. It takes a lot of nerve to enter and expose yourself to this type of competition and you should be applauded for your efforts. Please do not give up entering future competitions and shows, as your art could have easily been chosen too.
All winners will now be featured on the Light Space & Time website for the month of August 2014. Thereafter, the artworks and links to the artist’s websites will then remain online in the Light Space & Time Archive Section. Congratulations to the artists who made the 4th Annual “Animals” Art Exhibition so interesting and successful
At any time, we invite our winners and other interested visitors to link their websites to the Gallery’s archive page for further ongoing promotion. Also, if anyone has any comments, thoughts or feedback, we would like to hear from you, as we would like to improve our online gallery, the competitions and our exhibitions. Thank you.
