Our current art competition theme is “Landscapes”.   The competition is for the month of February 2012 and the gallery would like for all 2D artists (including photography) to send us your best interpretation of the theme “Landscapes” by depicting the natural world, outdoor scenery, geographical environments’ and any related landscape subjects for inclusion into the gallery’s March 2012 online group art exhibition. .

At the bottom of this page is a link to enter this competition, along with the procedure to enter this exhibition. The sizing and labeling of your images is very important. Please size your images, not to exceed 1,000 pixels on any one side (width or height) with a resolution of 100 and image quality setting of 12 (or the highest setting possible with your editing program). Label your image files in the following manner; last name, image number, competition name, image name. Following is an Example: Smith_1_Nature_Tree.jpg. Please fill the entire form and load all five (5) images before sending the upload. Also, you may upload additional images if required, along with the additional entry fees. Press the SEND BUTTON ONCE otherwise you will be duplicating your entry.

After the upload, it will take you to the PayPal Payment Center and make your payment of $10.00 for Two (2) Entries or $15.00 for Three (3) or more Entries, up to Five (5) Entries. The PayPal Account Name is submissions@lightspacetime.com. After the successful upload of your images and the successful payment through PayPal, you will receive a confirmation of each procedure. A group exhibition of the top ten finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of March 2012. Awards will be for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th places. In addition, 5 artists will be recognized with Honorable Mention awards. Depending on the amount and the quality of the entries there may also be Special Recognition awards posted as well.
